Alta California Elementary School and Gifted STEAM Magnet is a one-of-a-kind school in the District. Alta has what parents and students desire: learning at a proficient level, a track record of elevating students, college and future readiness, safety, activities and fun. We are always evolving to meet every stakeholders’ need as a full-service Community School and an independent, autonomous ESBMM school.
We formed the Gifted STEAM Magnet to give parents a local option to accelerate our brightest students in the Panorama City area and surrounding communities. We take great pride in this endeavor.
We are also well recognized for our one-of-a-kind school-wide button or badge program that creates a pathway to college. Throughout the year, students earn buttons and badges for doing what is right with the explicit end goal of going to college. Rest assured that Alta will be an excellent school choice for your family.
