Dress Code

The following standards are expected for interviews and will be upheld for the Senior Exit Portfolio Interviews at Legacy VAPA High School. 

One Approach:

• Suit (preferred)

• Slacks (dress pants) 

• Blazer or suit jacket

• Ties (either red or navy blue ties or other solid colors)

• Dress shirt: preferably long-sleeved and monochromatic (one color) 

• Dress shoes 

• Dark socks and shoes (to match pants) 

A Second Approach:

• Blouse and skirt (complementary) 

• Dress 

• Pant suit (same colored top and bottom) 

• Appropriate hem lengths 

• Appropriate business shoes (low heels or flats)

THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT Encouraged:

• Low necklines 

• Sleeveless clothing 

• Exposed midriffs (stomachs)

• Facial jewelry 

• Denim (jeans) 

• Tennis shoes, flip-flops 

• Extremely short skirts or shorts

VAPA's Dress Code will be in effect; however, students are expected to be dressed more formally than standard school attire.
