What is Unaided Communication? It is non-verbal communication that you can create using your face, hands, or body. Since you spend lots of time with your child, you are probably already pretty aware how they are feeling based on large or small communication signals they are giving you. The best part of no-tech communication is that it is PART of you! You don't need to print anything, and you never run out of battery power. You can actually get pretty far in life with facial expressions, reaching, pointing, and gesture. But what if you don't understand the gesture they are using? What if you know they are pointing, but can't quite figure out what they are pointing at? Here are some suggestions.
