What does IB look like at THE ROCK?
Eagle Rock Junior Senior High School has two different International Baccalaureate programs, the Middle Years Programme, and the Diploma Programme. As an IB school, our students learn to be critical thinkers with a global perspective. Our school community is guided by the characteristics of IB Framework.
Grades 7-10
All students in grades 7-10 at Eagle Rock Junior Senior High School are "in the International Baccalaureate." The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is part of the curriculum for all students and programs. We follow state standards for our curriculum, but add the IB framework which consist of: Learner Profiles, Approaches to Learning, Global Context, and Design Cycle. In addition, project based student lessons emphasize interdisciplinary learning across all subjects. IB is interconnected, and aims to engage students in their own education and learning journey.
