Make flashcards and practice the sight words: the, I, to, a, is, my, go, me, like, on, in, so, we, it, and, up, at, see, he, do, you, an, can, no, am, went, are, and this. Have them spell the word with their finger on a table or a textured surface.

Make up your own AB pattern. This is the pattern that we are working on during our Calendar time for the month of August.
Practice counting objects around the house. Have them point or touch each object as they count. Practice counting from 1-30 but continue to challenge your child to count more! If your child is comfortable counting by 1s, have them start grouping items in groups of 10 and count by tens all the way up to 100!
