We are proud to highlight Versa-Style Street Dance Company, founded by Jackie Lopez (Miss Funk) and Leigh Foaad (Breeze-lee). Jackie is a former student of ELAPA founder Ms. McKnight, and the company includes multiple ELAPA alumni who continue to represent and uplift our community through their work.

Versa-Style will present their latest full-length production, “Tribute: Guardians of Street Dance,” on Friday, March 13 at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center at California State University Long Beach.

Their work has had a tremendous impact in preserving and spreading Hip Hop culture within the dance community and inspiring our ELAPA students. 

This production is more than a performance — it is a living history of the culture they protect and the future they continue to build.
