See you in the library!

If a teacher wants a Teacher Card, but they do not have a regular library card they should visit a local branch so they can get both at the same time. If a teacher has a regular library card, but not a Teacher Card, then they can fill out the Teacher Card Form (linked here) and they will be issued a Teacher Card. They do need to show proof they are a teacher though. Yes, the retrieval form is only for students to get their Student Success Card information.
Student Success Cards
All LAUSD students already have a Student Success Card, which is a library card through the Los Angeles Public Library. To access the free digital resources offered by LAPL, you don't need a physical card - all you need is your card number! To find out what your card number is, complete a verification form and you will receive your information via the e-mail you provide.
You can also ask Mrs. Werner in the library.
Use your Student Success Card to access a wealth of digital resources including e-books, homework help, music, and more!

A little bit about myself I graduated from Cal State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a Master’s Degree in Administration. I went back to college to get my Librarian Credential from Cal State Long Beach and have been a librarian for over 11 years. Before that I had been a teacher for over 20 years. I have worked at the Elementary, Middle, and now High School level for the past 6 years.
I have been married now for 25 years and have two grown kids, Vienna, 23 and Tristan, 21. They are now both in university completing their degrees. On my free time I love to surf, garden, play ukulele and read books. When I’m not reading or hanging out with my friends and family you could usually find me at the beach surfing or reading a good book.
