The Y'all West Book Festival is 

Saturday, April 29th

Students in grades 6 though 8 at Arroyo Seco Museum Science Magnet are invited to join Ms. Kopp and selected adult chaperones to attend the Y'all West Book Festival on Saturday, April 29th at Santa Monica High School. Students interested in attending should see Ms. Kopp for a field trip permission slip. There are 30 spaces available for students and spots are secured by handing in a completed field trip slip to Ms. Kopp.

Schedule for Saturday, April 29th

9:30 am: Meet in front of Arroyo Seco Museum Science Magnet. Depart on school bus.

10:15 am: Arrive at Santa Monica High School

10:30 am - 12:00 pm: Small Group Exploration of the Y'all West Book Festival

12:00-1:00 pm: Lunch (provided) and Book Truck Visit

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Small Group Exploration of the Y'all West Book Festival

3:15 pm: Board the Bus

3:45 pm: Return to  Arroyo Seco Museum Science Magnet

Transportation and lunch will be provided. In addition, students will be allowed to select some free books when they visit the Book Truck. However, students in attendance might want to bring money for additional food purchases at food trucks, book and comic stores, and other promotional materials.
