Interested in joining AP Art & Design for the 2024-25 school year? Apply today by filling out the AP Art and Design Application. Remember this class is by teacher recommendation ONLY. I must approve your enrollment into the course. Your eligibility will be determined by your portfolio review and interview with me. Please read the guidelines and expectations of the review and course before submitting your application.

Requirements
The portfolio review highlights your strengths in art and design in any 2D medium of your choice. Read the requirements below:
Complete the Google Form below.
Email your work to Mr. Barreto BEFORE your appointment: louis.barreto@lausd.net
Bring 4-5 2D original artworks of your choice (painting, illustrations, graphics, photography, etc.)

4-5 ORIGINAL completed 2D artworks. Master studies are acceptable.
Sketches, doodles, drawings, etc. are supplemental.
Clean and presentable.
Bring the appropriate device if necessary (tablet or laptop)
Able to communicate clearly the ideas or concepts in artwork
