• Where can I find the guided notes for each lesson?
  The guided notes for each lesson can be found easily on the first and last pages of the lesson. However, if you want to see the guided notes in one place, then click on the "NOTES" button at the top of the lesson page.

• Do I need a proctor for my exams?
  For MS Science, you will not need an exam proctor for the exams or the final, unless there is an exceptional circumstance. You are expected to behave ethically. When you move to high school science, you will be required to have a proctor for your semester exams, and your course will provide specific information about that.

• Where are general resources for succeeding in Science at Laurel Springs?
  Great question!  We have a page full of tools to help you review your work, make graphs, and even managing your Buzz LMS calendar of assignments! You can find the LSS Science Resources for Success page here!

• What are the correct formats for any work submissions?
  For MS Science, you must turn in your work in the following formats: MS Office or PDF.  

  •  If you use Apple tools to complete your work, then follow these steps to convert your work to appropriate formats: LINK to Guide

• If you use Google tools, go to File-->Download and choose one of the correct formats (MS Office or PDF).

• If you are submitting a video or graphic file, make sure you convert it to a standard format: MP4 (for video and audio) or JPEG or PNG (for static images). HEIC files are not accessible for us to grade.

• Where do I find the assignment activity?

For MS Science, all activities will be found on the last page of the lesson. On the last page, you can see links for the specific lab activity, including

• Any templates you must complete

• Any simulation activity links

• The specific grading rubric your teacher will use to evaluate your work

• Any other helpful details for completing the assessment activity

• How do I use the assignment templates if I don't have Microsoft Office?

You may find yourself in a situation where you don't have Microsoft Office but you have access to your Google account. In that case, you can use Google Drive to open and edit your assignment templates!
