NO DENIM is acceptable in school
Hairstyles - Hairstyles that look professional while also supporting effective and safe participation in all UTC activities. Hair should not be dyed.
Jewellery - NO JEWELLERY can be worn apart from one pair of in-ear stud earrings and a wristwatch. The Leigh UTC and Inspiration Academy takes no responsibility for lost/stolen/damaged jewellery.
Non-uniform items - Non-uniform items including jewellery will be confiscated, and these can be collected from the Academy office at the end of the day. Students bring such items entirely at their own risk and the Academy accepts no responsibility should it be damaged, lost or stolen. We ask that parents/carers write a note in the student's planner to communicate to staff why the student is unable to wear the correct uniform on any given day.

Coming to school prepared is vital to students being able to access their learning quickly and effectively. We do not want students losing learning time having to find equipment. To ensure that lessons can start promptly and flow for the full hour students are expected to have the following items every day:
at least 2 black pens
at least 2 blue pens

a rubber
a pencil sharpener
at least one dry wipe marker
a selection of highlighters
colouring pencils
a glue stick
a scientific calculator

an appropriate reading book
