Leigh Academies Trust is committed to making our website as accessible as possible so that everyone, including those with visual, hearing, cognitive, motor disabilities, and learning disabilities has complete access to the information we provide.


How accessible is our website?

This website is not yet compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 A standard. The non-compliances are listed below.


On our website, you should be able to

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts

  • zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen

  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard

  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software

  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)


We know some parts of our website is not fully accessible at the moment:

  • you cannot modify the line height or spacing of text

  • all of our videos do not have captions

  • there’s a limit to how far you can magnify the map on our ‘contact us’ page

  • some images contain information that is not accessible by a screen reader

  • No Images on this website have alt-text.
