We will be raising money for The Brompton Fountain Charity in aid of World Heart Day on Tuesday 3rd October 2023.
We are raising money for this certain charity because they treated one of our own pupils.
Billy was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot at 8 weeks old. Tetralogy of Fallot is a heart defect made up of four different heart problems. Billy had to undergo corrective open heart surgery at the Royal Brompton Hospital just 2 weeks after diagnosis and his journey did not end there. At aged 2 and 5 he had to have surgery to widen his valve, and again had open heart surgery at age 6 to have his valve replaced entirely.
There is a possibility that Billy may have to have surgery in the future.
The Brompton fountain Charity were exceptional at supporting Billy and his family through this extremely difficult time.
The money received from fundraising and donations allow The Brompton Fountain to provide more vital resources and medical equipment for the children’s ward and paediatric intensive care unit at Royal Brompton Hospital.
The Brompton Fountain charity also provides a wide range of vital resources, services, parent / carer amenities, accommodation, improvements to the facilities and projects which are outside of the NHS remit.
We hope you will help support this amazing charity along with us.
