Meet Your Teacher

I am thrilled to be your teacher! It's going to be a terrific year!

I'm from Palo Alto, so I grew up appreciating this wonderful area. I graduated from Paly and later UCLA. Go Bruins! After a Bachelor's in Sociology at UCLA, I entered the teaching credential program at Notre Dame de Namur University, in Belmont. I was hired to teach fifth grade at Loyola, in 2006, and I've never left this amazing school!

Students should expect to hear many stories about daily life in our family. Henry is our 7 year old and a proud Loyola 2nd grader! Thomas, 5, is a new Loyola Lion Cub in kindergarten! Our family loves beach days, bike rides, hikes, and road trips.
