Mathematics

In this unit, students will review the concept of division with and without remainders, how it relates to multiplication, and how to solve multiplication and division problems. Students will find whole-number quotients and remainders with up to four-digit dividends and one-digit divisors which they will extend to two-digit divisors. Students will learn to write the answer to dividing two whole numbers as a fraction or mixed number instead of with a remainder and they will divide decimals to hundredths.
