We will start building our invention prototypes next week. You can drop off donations anytime between now and next Monday. I sent home a list of needed materials last week. I'll repost it here soon.

Happy Sunday everyone!

February has been a busy month! We've had 100th Day of School, Valentine's Day, Parent-Teacher conferences, and President's Day. I think we missed Groundhog's Day! This week we'll celebrate Dr. Seuss by reading some of our favorites!

A quick reminder that Picture Day is this Tuesday, February 27th. Please send in order forms by Tuesday morning if you plan to order pictures. We will take our group picture also.

This week in math we'll begin our unit on polygons, two/three dimensional shapes, and symmetry.

We have been busy researching and planning for our invention unit. This week we'll start documenting our our ideas for our invention, including what it will do, what we think it will look like, and the materials we think we'll need to build a prototype. We'll even apply for a patent!

We've had lots of colds and sickness going around. I hope everyone is feeling well. Please help your kids remember to wash their hands often. And thank you for not sending sick kiddos to school!
