New Mexico Public Education Standardized Tests
PSAT 9/10 - required for all 9th and 10th graders- October 22, 2025
PSAT/NMSQT* - optional for 11th graders who want to try and qualify for a National Merit Scholarship- October 22, 2025
SAT School Day Spring - required for all 11th to graduate- April 15, 2026
NM-ASR Spring - required for all 11th to graduate March 16-26, 2026
*The PSAT 9/10, SAT School Day, and NM-ASR are administered by LAHS and do not require the student to register.
*The PSAT/NMSQT is optional for 11th grade students. The registration for 11th graders will be in the 11th grade Google classroom. The deadline for 11th graders to register for the PSAT/NMSQT is several weeks prior to the test. Check your Google classroom.

AP Courses and Tests
AP Courses and Tests
Ap classes are offered to all LAHS students as part of the regular course schedule. There are AP classes in Math, Science, English, Languages, Social Studies, Art, and others. If a student is interested in an AP course, please check the LAHS Course Catalog and speak to your counselor, the teacher of the class, or Mrs. Nolen for more information. The AP tests are in May and are given according to the AP Schedule on the College Board Website.
