The DSA is equipped with two hearing assist systems

• T-Coil compatible Hearing Loop

Seats A9-N26 are serviced by the DSA's T-Coil Hearing Loop. Audience members with compatible hearing devices will hear a mix of the output from the soundboard and two overhead microphones on their hearing devices.

• Auracast

Every seat in the DSA can tune in to one of two Auracast streams. "DSA High Def." runs at 48kHz while "DSA Standard Def." runs at 24kHz. Audience members with compatible hearing devices will hear a mix of the output from the soundboard and two overhead microphones on their hearing devices.

Not every exit/entrance to the DSA is wheelchair accesible. All of the entrances to the backstage areas on the northeast side of the DSA have stairs and no wheelchair ramp. Only the southmost entrance to the lobby has an ADA door opener.

Service animals are welcome at all events at the DSA. Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not permitted in the Duane Smith Auditorium or any of it's lobby or backstage spaces.
