Amelia Francis

The person we interviewed was Amelia Francis in the 6th grade. Her favorite subject is reading because of her teacher. Her favorite thing to do out of school is hanging out with her friends. She said that her favorite movie is Trolls. If she could travel anywhere she would go to Virginia. The person who has the biggest impact on her is her brother.

Olivia Evans

For the seventh grade student feature of the month, we chose Olivia Evans.  Olivia is in 7th grade and this is her second year here at our school.  Her favorite subject is math because, “it is easy.”  Her favorite part about this school is her dad (Mr. Evans) being at the same school.  Olivia is most proud of making Giant Ambassador and is most excited to get to do things with the Giant Ambassador.  One of her favorite things to do outside of school is to practice tennis, practice archery, and practice soccer. Olivia’s biggest inspiration is Dad, Mr. Evans because he has taught her so much.  Her favorite food is gumbo, favorite TV show is America’s Funny Home Videos (AVF).  If she could go to one place in the world it would be Paris.  Her favorite memory at school is when she tried to pronounce Arron but said Orron.  And Finally, if she could tell her classmates one thing it would be,”to never give up!”

Grace Willis

 This week we decided to interview Grace Willis for student of the week. Grace is in 8th grade and moved here last year to make it her second year attending JJHS for 2 years. She thinks PE is the easiest because “It is fun and easy”. Grace's favorite part about school is going home at 3:40 everyday and seeing her friends. One thing Grace is proud of accomplishing better grades. Outside of school Grace likes to tumble and participates in the Epic Athletics Competition Cheer Team and softball. Grace’s best tumbling pass is a “round-off backhandspring layout”. Coach Tab is her biggest role model outside of school. In the future Grace would like to have all A’s. When Grace grows up she would like to be either a Delivery Nurse or a NICU Nurse. If Grace could give one piece of advice to younger students she would say “Good Luck or FOLLOW THE GOLDEN RULE”. One thing most people do not know about Grace is that she is a very picky eater and her favorite food is hotdogs. Grace’s favorite genre of music is country, specifically Ella Langley, her favorite movie is “Forever My Girl”. One day Grace would like to visit Hawaii. If she could choose any super power she would choose teleportation because she could get to different places faster. Grace thinks the funniest most memorable thing that happened at school was the potato olympics in Ms. Daisy’s Class. One thing Grace can never live without is her bible. One thing Grace would like to be remembered for is her athleticness. She strongly thinks that her friends make her the happiest. One thing she wishes everyone could know is that “Snitches Get Stitches and End Up in Ditches”. Her mom and dad have the biggest positive impact on her. If she could change one thing about her it would be to have less of an attitude. If she could tell her future self one thing is that she would get a good Christian husband one day.
