90th Kick-0ff Ceremony
Kick-off Ceremony Started with a Bang!
The 90th Anniversary celebrations started on September 10th 2021 to mark the Teacher Appreciation Day. The Kick-off Ceremony was held in the School Hall where five lucky student representatives from each class got to take part in this grand celebration. The rest of the school enjoyed the festivities in the comfort of their own classrooms as Campus TV livestreamed the action.
The winner of the Logo Design Competition, Chung Ming Hin, who graduated in 2021, received a certificate and explained his inspiration for the design. He felt amazed to see his logo hanging everywhere around the campus and believes that all Lasallians are always supporting each other and are always connected, letting the school torch burn brightly.
The students in the Hall all had a deep impression of the event. Lui Hong Lam of Class 1F said he felt the great passion and the spirit of unity through all the higher form schoolmates and all the teachers. While Chan Hin Ming of Class 5G felt the ceremony gave him a lot of insight into the history of La Salle College and made him appreciate the faith and zeal of our Lasallian brotherhood. He hopes that La Salle will continue to prosper for another 90 years!
