LASA Orchestra Raptors
Welcome to the LASA Orchestra Website!
The LASA Orchestra is a growing, inclusive, high-quality 9-12 orchestra program at the Liberal Arts and Science Academy located in Austin, Texas. It is part of the Austin Independent School District.
Until 2021 LASA orchestra students were members of the combined LBJ/LASA Orchestra program. As Orchestra Jaguars, LASA students have been playing in Austin for over three decades and have received multiple awards and commendations. In the Summer of 2021 as LASA moved to its own campus and the LASA Orchestra Raptors were born. The program consists of students from the Liberal Arts and Science Academy that meet as five different performing ensembles. LASA's program is one of the largest orchestra ensembles in AISD. We are proud to showcase excellence at all our events and contests.
