If you use my software and ideas to create your own system, please share it with me. It's always great to hear from other curlers that have put a system together--especially with some creative twist to my system.
From the "why didn't I think of this" department...W. Render just put the system in a small project box. Lots faster than 3D printing and maybe even easier. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-9pxOm93sbY
Thanks for sharing! Here are three photos he sent me of his system.
David Boese has a case that is really cool. Check out the video. https://youtube.com/shorts/uCr-A8QlJ_o?feature=share
He has also worked on some software to use the esp32 as a webserver and then display the data on a phone. I'm envious!
Fellow Fairbank's curler Andy Miller has taken this hardware and done some great work to connect it to a raspberry pi and a ipad through a network connection to provide data acquisition and storage. I am cheap so I just write my numbers down on a piece of paper!! His system is really nice if you want to spend a little more money and add a little complexity. Maybe he'll open up his webpage at www.andybetterrocktimer.team
If you order the electronics and just put it into a project box, it will work well and is easy. Here's a few pictures of other's successes.
Please share some photos of your project if you do something that might inspire others.
