Our reading ambassadors have been the first to read some new books in school written by Aleesha Dixon from Britain's Got Talent.
They were so impressed with them that Amber (Year 6) wrote a lovely book review to share with you all.
If you like magic and mystery then this is the book for you. Based on a girl called Aurora Beam, this book is another instalment to the Lightening Girl series.
This book follows the life of Aurora who is trying to figure out who has stolen the sacred stone: the light of the world. When her brother starts acting strangely and her mum won't tell her anything, Aurora begins to try and figure out who her enemy is but villains maybe closer than she and her friends think...
I really liked reading this book and would rate it a 4/5 because it is so hard to put down. It transports you tp Aurora's world and makes you want to findd out what will happen next, you are constantly left wanting more! I also like it because it is about friendship and that anything is possible when you have friends by your side!
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves adventure and a bit of MAGIC!
Amber, Year 6.
If you would like to follow Amber's recommendation and read this, or any other books in the series, please see Mrs Langford.
