Dear Parents and Students:

Hello my awesome students and hard working parents. I am so happy to be able to bring some joy and music instructional activities into your home during these difficult times. We must stay positive and make the best of it. Remember this is not a forever situation. If we follow all the indications provided by our local, state and federal governments, we should make it through!

Please watch the second video the NAVIGATION VIDEO. This video will guide you what you can find on this website and how to find it.

First, we have our HOME page, which has the main menu at the top. Second, we have the ATTENDANCE PAGE. Please click on the word ATTENDANCE so we can give your child credit for participating in music instruction. Third, you will find the Memory Carousel. Here you will find pictures and or 10-second videos displaying your child’s music participation. Fourth, Next to the word MORE found at the top right of the web page you will find SEVEN DIFFERENT SECTIONS: (PK3 through Kindergarten – fun song and dance videos); (PK through 2^nd – weekly musical concept lesson); (3rd through Fifth Grade – weekly musical concept lesson); (Resources - Vocabulary - music concept videos and charts); (Composers Corner – pictures, compositions and interesting facts about famous composers); (All Grades – general music activities for the whole family) and finally (Anuncios de Macdonell). PLEASE NOTE that depending on the lesson for the week, sometimes some sections might be empty.

I would be very grateful if you would please take a picture of your child or his/her work and/or take a short video (no more than 30 seconds) showing music participation. Then PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE send them to my e-mail at bescudero109@laredoisd.org or my phone number 956-645-1941. Please DO NOT forget to include the name of your child and grade level.

Queridos Padres y Estudiantes:

Un saludo caluroso para mis estudiantes fantásticos y para los padres que están trabajando muy duro. Me agrada muchísimo poder traer un poco de alegría y actividades musicales a su casa en estos momentos difíciles. Tenemos que ser positivos y hacer lo mejor que podamos. Recuerden que esta situación no es para siempre. Al final si seguimos las indicaciones y con mucha fe podremos vencer esta batalla.

Primeramente, tenemos el HOME page con videos de bienvenida, asistencia y navegación de las paginas para los padres. Enseguida la página de ATTENDANCE por favor de hacer clic donde dice la palabra "ATTENDANCE" y siga las instrucciones para que su hijo/a reciba crédito por participar en música. Luego diríjase hacia la página Memory Carrusel. En esta página encontrara retratos y/o videos de los estudiantes demostrando que están participando en música. Después sigue la palabra "More"… por debajo le saldrán las siguientes SIETE SECCIONES: (PK3 a Kínder – videos de música y baile); (PK a 2do – lección semanal de conceptos musicales); (3ro a 5to – lección semanal de conceptos musicales); (Recursos – contiene vocabulario, videos y tablas graficas reforzando conceptos musicales); (El Rincón del Compositor/Composer’s Corner – biografías, retratos, composiciones y hechos de los compositores); (All Grades – actividades de música en general para todos); (Anuncios de Macdonell). Habrá semanas cuando algunas paginan no estén disponible dependiendo de la lección de la semana).

Les quisiera pedir un gran favor. Les agradecería muchísimo que si les pueden tomar fotos o videos (no más de 30 segundos) de sus hijos/as donde demuestre participación de actividades musicales.
