The Laredo ISD Instructional Technology Department is committed to providing our students, teachers, administrators and staff with an exemplar technological learning and working environment. With the support of our School Board and Superintendent, we have been able to provide all stakeholders with the latest devices, resources, and tools to engage in 21st century teaching and learning.
The Laredo ISD Instructional Technology Department is committed to providing our students, teachers, administrators and staff with an exemplar technological learning and working environment. With the support of our School Board and Superintendent, we have been able to provide all stakeholders with the latest devices, resources, and tools to engage in 21st century teaching and learning.
One of our top priorities is to ensure that students and staff are provided with a safe and exceptional digital learning experience while being in compliance with the Child Internet Protection Act. In addition, all staff and students must complete our annual Acceptable Use Policy training that promotes responsible digital citizenship. Furthermore, we work towards preparing our students to attain the necessary skills to be successful critical thinkers, communicators, collaborators, and creators by assisting our teachers in transforming their traditional teaching practices into interactive, engaging instructional platforms. Lastly, we take pride in involving our families to engage in their children's educational journey by providing technology trainings, resources, and tools to bring them together!
