Transition Events

We have lots of events planned to welcome you to Larbert High. By the time August comes we are sure you will be excited and ready to become an S1 pupil!

P7 Open Evening – Thursday 10 November 2022 6:30pm

The evening begins with a welcome from Mr Reid, Rector of Larbert High School. You will then have a chance to go on a guided tour of the school and visit classes where you will learn about our S1 courses and experiences.

Transition Visits: November 2022

Throughout the next few months, you will have the chance to meet some of the key staff they will work with at Larbert High School through a series of transition visits to the primary schools. Our first visits will be from the Pupil Support Team.

Academies Launch :Tuesday 24 January 2023 - 6:30-8:30pm

Our Academies Programme is going from strength to strength with an impressive ten opportunities including Football, Sport, Dance, Media, STEM, Hospitality, Rock & Pop, Earth Sciences, Piping & Drumming and Languages. This event will allow you to hear from the teachers who deliver each course to help your child inform their choice of which Academies opportunity they would like to apply for.

P7 Class Visits: January- April 2023

We can't wait to welcome each of our P7 classes and their teacher to spend a day with us at Larbert High. You will have the chance to see the Pupil Support Teacher who visited your class before Christmas and will take part in activities with them which will help you learn more about the school. You will then meet teachers from our English and Humanities faculties and will begin a piece of work which you will then continue in your P7 class. Remember to bring your iPad with you!

P7 Induction Days: Friday 12 and Monday 15 May 2023

Our P7 Induction days give you the chance to experience what life is like as a High School Pupil. You will take part in team building activities with pupils from across the cluster and will have chance to experience a number of classes in different faculties.
