Lapeer Lightning Bands

Hi, I am Mr. Hundt and I serve as the Director of Bands at Lapeer High School! Music has always been an outlet of expression and joy for me. I love playing the trumpet, and fostering that same musical passion in my band students!  

I earned my Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.E.) and a Master of Music (M.M.) from Central Michigan University. I have been teaching for 27 years.

Hi, I am Mrs. Fenner and I am the Zemmer 7th and 8th Grade Band Director! What I love about teaching Band is the transformation over time. We get to watch them go from barely being able to make a sound to creating real, expressive music together.

I earned my Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.E.) from Central Michigan University and a Master of Music (M.M.) from the American Band College. I have been teaching for 21 years.

Hi, my name is Ms. Johnson and I am the Rolland-Warner 5th and 6th Grade Band Director! Music has always been a huge part of my life, and I hope to inspire my students through the music we make the same way my teachers always inspired me.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Clarinet Performance and Psychology from Central Michigan University, and a Master in Music Education (M.M.E.) from the University of Michigan. I have been teaching for 4 years.
