Practice starts right after the last bell of the day (2:06)
All wrestlers are expected to help with the wrestling mats
Wrestlers should get ready in the following order
Get the wrestling mats out
Roll out the wrestling mats
Tape the wrestling mats (if necessary)
Mop the wrestling mats
Get yourselves ready for practice including getting your shoes on
All wrestlers should be ready to warm up at 2:30 including having the mats fully ready.
You are expected to attend every practice
If you can't make a practice you need to email your coach
Email Subject: "Wrestling (date)"
If you miss a practice you will not participate in the competition the following day
You are still expected to be at the competition
If you have any classes with an average below 75, you will not participate in tournaments. You will need to turn in a grade sheet weekly on Thursday
You are ineligible to wrestle off if any of your class averages are below a 75
Miss practice forfeit starting spot for the next 7 days.
If you can not practice for some reason, you should still be at practice and watch the practice
You should not be on your phone during practice or off wandering the school
You can do school work or watch practice
You should get to the middle school gym right after the bell rings at 2:06 to start rolling out the mats and getting them taped and mopped
Everyone is expected to help until all mats are rolled out, taped, and mopped!
If you cannot get to the gym right away, you should communicate this with your coach right away, email is best
All wrestlers are expected to listen to directions from coaches as well as captains
Practice starts at 2:06 because we have to roll out and mop the mats so we can begin warm up by 2:30
Wrestlers are expected to always compete fairly, failure to will result in removal from competitions
Wrestlers are always expected to clean bleachers/seats after use
Any garbage left behind will result in disciplinary action
Wrestlers are expected to show up to practice ready to go this includes:
Athletic Apparel
Wrestling Shoes
Head Gear
Mouth Guard if required
All wrestlers are expected to shower once they get home from practice
Any skin rashes should be reported to the coach
If you miss a practice you will not participate in the following competition
You are still expected to be at the competition
You are expected to attend every practice

Students must be in school to participate in extracurricular activities
Students arriving after 7:50 are ineligible for any competition or activities for that day. The only exceptions are:
Funeral
Medical/dental appointments
Religious observance
Required court appearances
Approved college visit
Acceptable excuses which are reviewed by the Athletic Director
If a student's average is less than 65 or they are failing 2 or more courses from the prior quarter they are ineligible to try out for a team.
If you are on the wrestling team and your grade drops to a 65 or less in any class, you will not be permitted to practice.
If you are on the wrestling team and your grade drops to a 75 or less in any class, you will need to fill out Academic Eligibility Tracking Sheets:

If you are on the wrestling team and your grade drops to a 75 or less in any class, you will be required to attend a wrestling study club lead by your team captain and Coach Corr. Attendance will be taken and is mandatory. Failure to attend will result in not being able to participate in practice.
Team Moto will be time after practice spent sprinting. The sprints are left up to the coach running the Team Moto. The following are general guidelines of how to add time to Team Moto, however, Team Moto is not limited to this list.
Garbage left at a tournament (5 or 10 minutes depending)
Wrestling mats not set up on time (2:30pm) (2 minutes for every minute past 2:30)
Everything needs to be cleaned up after practice (2 minutes for each item left for Coaches to clean up)(this includes mops, speakers, tape, ect.)
Everything must be cleaned and taken of the bus (2 minutes for each item left on the bus)
Individual Moto will be time after practice spent sprinting. The sprints are left up to the coach running the Moto. The following are general guidelines of how to add time to Individual Moto, however, Individual Moto is not limited to this list.
Cursing (2 minutes)
Showing up to practice late without a pass from a teacher (1 minutes for each minute late. Max of 10 minutes)
Skipping practice (12 minutes per skipped practice)
Complaints about practice (3 minutes)
Not turing borrowed gear in properly. Gear should always be returned right side out, one item at a time. (5 minutes)
Missing weight a a match or tournament (10 minutes)
Talking during a match, not having all equipment on before getting on the wrestling mat, or taking any equipment off before stepping of the wrestling mat (10 minutes)
Going to the bathroom during practice when we are not on a break (5 minutes)
Losing borrowed equipment (5 minutes)
Unprepared for practice (5 minutes)
Having your phone out during practice time (10 minutes)
