NYSSMA Solo Festival, is an opportunity to challenge yourself as a musician! 

You would pick a solo WITH Ms. Sisti (some examples are shown below ranged by instrument!) to learn with Ms. Sisti on the side, as well as learning scales (by memory!) and practice sight reading!  

Lastly in Late Spring, you would then take what you have practiced and travel to a school within the Rensselear, Schenectady or Albany County's (changes every year) to perform your materials infront of a PROFESSIONAL MUSICIAN ON YOUR INSTRUMENT! 

You Would receive feedback from the professional musician personally, as well be able to add this to your personal record! 

REMEMBER: All Solo Choices Must Be Finalized by Ms. Sisti!
