High School Concert Band

The Concert Band is the premier instrumental performing ensemble at Lanier County High School and includes students in grades 9-12. Admission is contingent on successful completion of the 8th Grade Band and permission of the instructor. Emphasis is on continued development of playing fundamentals, with the goal of preparing every student for the demands of the next band level and to become lifelong lovers of music. The band regularly plays music of a grade 3-4 level (out of 6). The Concert Band performs at the winter and spring concerts, as well as other scheduled performances. They are among the leaders of Lanier County High School.
