7th Grade

The 7th Grade Band is the second-year band at Lanier County Middle School. Admission is contingent on successful completion of 6th Grade Band or special permission of the director. This ensemble meets every other school day for a full hour. Emphasis is on building music literacy, playing technique, listening skills, and rhythmic independence. The 7th Grade Band performs music of a grade 1-2 level (out of 6). The 7th Grade Band performs a winter concert and a spring concert. Some students in this group may be allowed to join the Bulldog Marching Band.
