It is expected every day that you come to class prepared, 

and you enter the class with a great attitude and on your very best behavior.

I expect this from you in the class everyday:

1. Show respect to everyone.
2. Have paper and pencils.
3. Organize your work. Keep it organized.
4. Understand “actions/consequences”

5. Check my Google Classroom every day.

6. Bring pencils/paper to class (NO PENS!)

7. Bring your calculator every day.

Do not move desk or chairs without permission.

Do not leave any trash on desk or floor before you leave.

Grading and Late Work Policy

• Assignments are scored using a points-based system and are categorized as either major or minor assignments. Major assignments include tests, essays, and large projects. Minor assignments include classwork, quizzes, quick checks, etc.

• Homework should be completed by the student and turned in on the due date. 

• Students will receive a zero for all homework assignments that are not turned in by the due date.

• Students may use an "oops pass" which allows students to turn in one day late with no grade penalty. Students will receive one oops pass per quarter. 

• Parents may not bring forgotten homework to the front desk to be delivered to the student. 

Plagiarism and AI policy

Students are expected to submit original work that reflects their own thinking, effort, and understanding. AI tools may be used to support learning, but they must not be used to generate, complete, or submit assignments. Submitting AI-generated content in place of your own original work is a violation of academic integrity and will be addressed accordingly. If you have any questions about this, please let me know.
