Pitta Bread Pizza
Ingredients
4 large pitta breads
4 tbsp tomato purée
2 tsp mixed herbs
2 tomatoes, sliced
6 slices salami, torn into small pieces
50g cheddar, grated
Method
Heat the grill at 180 celsius.
Spread each pitta bread with 1 tbsp tomato purée, sprinkle over the mixed herbs, then lay on the tomato slices.
Divide the meat of your choice on the pittas
Sprinkle over the cheese and grill until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
This week, the children in Cookery Club prepared ingredients to create Pitta Bread Pizza. We focused on measuring, as some children did not want to use all of their ingredients, and cutting skills.
They were all pleased with the finished results, it looked and smelt amazing.
Ingredients needed for 2nd May
4 plain/smooth biscuits of your choice (best if they have the thickness of a shortbread)
Container or ziplock bag to hold the 4 biscuits.
