EYFS

Literacy in the EYFS

Literacy in the EYFS is separated into three key areas; Comprehension, Word Reading and Writing. We have high expectations for all our pupils in regards to their Literacy development, as this is such a fundamental area of learning that underpins so many other subjects for your child. Please see attached an overview of the expectations for the end of year for our Nursery pupils, Reception pupils as well as our Early Learning Goals. These are the assessments that are completed during Module 6 for our Reception pupils.
