Langley Legends

We are thrilled to mention the achievements of Jacob E, from Fortune Class, who is a Langley Legend this week.

During the Easter holidays, Jacob went on a football tour to Barcelona to play in the Mare Nostrum Cup with his team mates from Rondos Academy. Also on the tour were teams from Spain, Brazil, Japan and Canada.

Jacob's team exceeded all expectations and made it all the way to the final. They led the game 1-0 until the last 5 minutes, during which they unfortunately conceded 2 goals against the other team which consisted of 5 players who have already been signed by professional academies.

Well done Jacob, this is an amazing achievement! Your family and everyone here at Leigh Academy Langley Park are extremely proud of you and we can't wait to hear more about your future football accomplishments.
