Langley Legends

This week, our Langley Legends are those children who attended the Young Voices 2025 event at the O2 arena on Thursday 23rd January.

Since September, members of our Young Voices Choir have been working towards this event, learning all of the song lyrics, dance moves and signing in BSL (British Sign Language). Although the concert does not start until 19:00, there is a whole day of rehearsals during the afternoon. 

Our choir were part of 7924 children attending the O2 for the concert yesterday evening and a truly amazing experience was had by all. They performed with special guests MC Grammar, Tommy Blaize and Souparnika Nair who, at just 10 years old, made the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent in 2020 and has gone on to earn recognition around the globe.

The group of children were a credit to themselves and Leigh Academy Langley Park and, despite it being a very long day for all concerned, it was well worth it and a very memorable experience.
