20g of unsalted butter
3 tbsp milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp caster sugar
4 tbsp plain flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
A good-sized microwaveable mug
Add the butter and milk to a microwaveable container and blast in 10-second intervals in the microwave until the butter has melted.
Stir in the vanilla extract, followed by the other ingredients and mix with a fork until smooth.
Empty the container into the microwaveable mug and cook for 1 minute (800W, adjust for higher wattages) until the sponge is firm to touch. Continue to cook in 10-second intervals, if not.
Top with your choice of chocolate spread, biscoff, cream or icing and enjoy!
This week, the children in Cookery Club made Pastry Pizza twists - delicious!
