Our IB Journey 🤝
Leigh Academy Langley Park is a proud IB World School, preparing for official re-evaluation from 26th to 30th January 2026.
We have joined forces with Leigh Academy Bearsted, Oaks, Treetops and Molehill to form a multi-campus model, thus strengthening collaboration and enriching our PYP programme.
What Makes Leigh Academy Langley Park Unique?
At Leigh Academy Langley Park, we are thrilled to offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) to our students. This program provides a framework for learning that is engaging, relevant, challenging, and significant. We believe that the PYP prepares students to become active, caring, lifelong learners who demonstrate respect for themselves and others and have the capacity to participate in the world around them. We provide a safe and stimulating learning environment, where children feel happy, secure and valued.
How Parents Can Support at Home 🏡
There are many ways that parents can support their children's learning at home:
Talk to your child about what they are learning in school
Encourage your child to ask questions and explore their interests
Provide your child with opportunities to read and write
Help your child to develop their research skills within their inquiry home learning
Encourage your child to take action as a result of their learning
Engage with our termly workshops/exhibitions (Last week of term)
Engage with your child's Google Classroom
