Maidstone Borough Council and SUEZ Competition

Thank you to those that have already completed a design and taken it to Granada House on Gabriel's Hill in Maidstone.  Your efforts go a long way to supporting our local environment in and around Maidstone.

Good news! You still have time to enter the competition as the deadline for entries is Sunday 30th November.  If you would like an entry form, please ask your class Eco-Council representative or Mrs Vidler-Green.

 Don't forget:

• The winning design will be featured on a real recycling truck and the creative will win £200 worth of vouchers!

Recycling and Waste Bins Around the Academy

The Eco-Council will be taking our survey from last academic year a step further by designing and making new signs to go on our current school bins. Many of the children are not certain as to why we have different coloured bins around the academy site and what can go inside them.  

Adding new clear signs will help all within our academy community to be more mindful about what we are throwing away and how we can be more environmentally friendly.
