Student rights and Responsibilities
Students are responsible for applying for Admission at Lane Community College and Registering for the Course on time. (See College Now Deadlines)
Students are responsible for the accuracy of applications and registrations. Before you complete any application or registration, check that personal information or course registration information are correct.
Students are responsible for coursework and completing all college-required material.
Students are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their final grades. Upon completion of your LCC College Now course, log in to your myLane account and check your transcript for accuracy. Any error should be immediately reported to your high school College Now instructor. If you believe you should have received College Now credit, but it is not showing on your transcript fill out this Appeal Form.
As a College Now student, you are responsible for dropping your class if you do not want your grade to appear on your LCC transcript. If you want to withdraw from a course, please contact the HSC Office at (541) 463-5203 or hsc-office@lanecc.edu to discuss your options.
Students are responsible to conform to the codes of conduct of LCC and their high school. In the event that you are suspected of classroom cheating, plagiarism or otherwise misrepresenting your work, you will be subject to discipline according to your school district’s policies.
