Are you interested in exploring how emerging AI tools might influence teaching and learning, whether by supporting creativity, simplifying research, or presenting new challenges? The Fusion Lab Pilot invites Lane employees to experiment with BoodleBox.ai, an AI-powered workspace designed to organize ideas, generate insights, and enable collaboration in real time.
We’re seeking a group of faculty, staff, and administrators to pilot this tool and evaluate its effects on educational practices.
At the ATC Fusion Lab, we are excited to introduce our first series of explorations and opportunities designed to enhance student engagement through cutting-edge technology. We invite our faculty, staff, and administration colleagues to join us in exploring innovative tools (such as Packback, Harmonize Learning, Yellowdig, VoiceThread, and the Zoom AI Companion). These platforms may have the potential to significantly impact the dynamics of classroom interaction and foster a more inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
By participating in these explorations, you will have the unique opportunity to directly influence the future of teaching and learning at Lane Community College. Your insights and experiences will help shape if and how these technologies can be ethically integrated into our curriculum and daily educational practices. Additionally, you will gain firsthand experience with AI-enhanced teaching tools, expanding your own digital literacy and teaching toolkit.
We are eager to hear your ideas for future technology explorations. Whether it’s emerging tools you've encountered in your professional networks, or technologies you believe could address specific educational challenges, we encourage you to bring your suggestions to the table. Together, we can continue to lead the way in educational innovation and create a transformative learning experience for our community.
