Thanks for checking out the #YSC webpage.  #YSC stands for "Your School Counselor".  This Googles Site is a work in progress and new material is added intermittently - so check back every now and then for additional content.  Let me know if you find a broken link, please.

There are a lot of moving parts in this age group: biology is doing its thing, additional demands for organization, an increase in workload and work difficulty, changes in friendships and social groups, a newfound awareness for new interests (and sudden disregard for older ones), and overall this theme of identity.  It's a wild mix and I'm here for it.

I enjoy working with middle school students  and also getting to meet their parents and caregivers.  I care deeply about their experience at LCDS and hope that I'm able to make it a positive one.
