I was born and raised in Texas, and my roots have shaped the person I am today. Growing up, I learned the value of family, faith, hard work, and treating others with kindness and respect.
As a mom, I have the privilege of raising incredible kids. Our family is also home to our charming Labrador, Jack (known to us as "Bird Dog"), and our spirited cat, Tim, who keeps us entertained and reminds us to embrace the joy in life.
Outside of teaching, I cherish the simple moments that bring our family together. I love getting lost in a good book, baking with my daughter Ana, and spending time feeding and working cattle. Those quiet moments remind me to slow down, appreciate life's blessings, and stay connected to the values that matter most.
Becoming a teacher has been my dream since I was a little girl. It has always been more than just a career—it is my passion and my purpose. I believe every child deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and encouraged to believe in themselves.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development from Southern New Hampshire University. My education has given me a strong understanding of how children grow, learn, and develop, and it continues to shape the way I teach.
