Welcome to 3rd Grade!

Dear Parents and Families,

My name is Kristen Diamond, and I am honored to be your child's 3rd grade Math and Science teacher this year. I am excited to partner with you to make this a year filled with learning, growth, curiosity, and memorable experiences.

In Math, we'll build strong problem-solving skills through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and real-world connections. Students will develop confidence as they explore numbers, patterns, measurement, geometry, and strategies that help them become thoughtful mathematicians. 

In Science, we'll explore the wonders of the natural world through hands-on investigations, meaningful discussions, and opportunities to ask questions and think like scientists. Together, we'll discover how science helps us better understand the world around us while fostering curiosity and a love of learning.

My goal is to create a classroom where students feel safe to take risks, celebrate their accomplishments, learn from mistakes, and develop confidence in their abilities. I want every child to know that their ideas matter and that learning can be both meaningful and fun.

I also believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential to student success. I value open communication and encourage you to reach out with any questions, concerns, or information that will help me better support your child throughout the year. Together, we can provide the encouragement and guidance that helps every student succeed.  

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year filled with exploration, discovery, and growth. I can't wait to meet each of you and begin this exciting journey together! GO BADGERS!!!!
