Hello!  My name is Tricia Mumme.  I am a certified teacher in the Reading Lab.  I have a passion for teaching children to read.  I love children and I work hard to help them to believe in themselves while discovering a love for reading.  

I have been blessed to work at LISD for twenty-nine years!  I taught second grade for ten years before working as a Texas Reading First Coach and then I moved into intervention and found my true passion.  I love teaching more and more each year!

Mrs. Strickland is my wonderful teaching partner in the lab.  Together we target reading skills for Kindergarten, First, and Second Graders.  We also use the Lexia Core5 program to help us identify areas that we need to target for each child.  If you would like to discuss ideas to work on at home to set your child up for success, feel free to reach out to me.  I would love to help!
