Jeanya anglin, ed.d.

I am a passionate educator with almost 30 years of experience in elementary and secondary education, holding a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Capella University, a Master in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University, and a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of North Texas.

I've served as a classroom teacher, Gifted and Talented coordinator, and held administrative roles including Curriculum Instructional Specialist, SpEd & 504 Administrator, and Assistant Principal, with prior experience as Summer Learning Director and Campus Testing Coordinator.

My career reflects a strong commitment to student success, continuous improvement, and community engagement, including involvement in professional organizations and church music leadership.

Recognitions such as the NSLS Herald Award and Teacher of the Month highlight my dedication to fostering positive learning environments and making a meaningful impact in education. I'm absolutely excited to be at Taylor Creek Elementary, and I look forward to serving the school community.
