Lakewood Jazz Band

The Lakewood Jazz Band is made up of students who select to sign up for Jazz Band during the fall. If there is enough student participation, more than one Jazz Band will be created. Students are assigned to the band or bands based on instrumentation needs and playing ability. 

The Lakewood Jazz Bands meet entirely outside of the school day. A rehearsal schedule will be set at the conclusion of Marching Season. Attendance at all rehearsals is required, as students receive a ½ credit and a grade for their participation. The Lakewood Jazz Bands perform at Jazz Festivals and school concerts.
