Year 1
Introduction to Semiconductor Manufacturing
Focus on fundamental principles and processes in semiconductor manufacturing relevant to MEMS
Lays groundwork for understanding the creation and integration of micro-scale components in high-tech devices
Digital Electronics and Printed Circuit Board Fabrication
Teaches design, fabrication, and testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs)
Covers basic digital circuit concepts and applies them to create functional PCBs
Year 2
Circuit Board Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Focuses on maintenance and troubleshooting of circuit boards, including MEMS components
Develops skills in diagnosing and repairing PCBs for reliable operation
Systems Maintenance and Industry Integration
Capstone course with a simulated workplace environment and hands-on maintenance simulations
Involves diagnosing and repairing various types of factory equipment, including MEMS components
Offers work-based learning opportunities with industry partners
Prepares students for careers in advanced manufacturing and industrial maintenance
Graduation Pathway: Possibility to earn 12 industry credential points and the Industry-Recognized Credential Seal
Industry Credentials: J-STD-01 Soldering Certification to be earned during Junior year

Internship Opportunities (paid or unpaid): Work experience 2nd semester senior year, 15 hours per week in a related occupation.
