READ CAREFULLY
Your quote should be well chosen and represent your best qualities, as it will serve as a record of who you are for years to come. All quotes are subject to review by the administration and the yearbook staff. Failure to follow guidelines will result in the exclusion of your quote. If you do not provide the yearbook staff with a quote, one will be chosen for you (See Below).
Please remember that the yearbook committee and administration will review all quotes. Quotes deemed inappropriate will not be published. The Log Staff reserves the right to edit, censor, or omit inappropriate quotes without notice.
Guidelines:
All quotes must be limited to 100 characters (approximately 20 words, depending on spacing and word size). Yes, spaces between words count and need to be included. For your name and quote to fit nicely with your picture, we have set 100 character spaces as the maximum. Quotes over the limit will not be used.
Please print it exactly as you want your quote/message to appear. Plan your capital and lowercase letters, spelling, and punctuation.
If it is not your quote, you must have a speaker listed, even if it’s anonymous.
Put your quote in quotation marks. Somebody said it, so you should cite it properly. Your English teachers will be proud of your efforts!
