Names / Preferred Names 

Names

Names may vary within the yearbook. The staff will follow the below guidelines in terms of names throughout the yearbook:

• The portrait section (seen as the historical aspect of the yearbook) will utilize the legal name on record in Skyward for each student and faculty member unless a yearbook preferred name form was completed and returned to the adviser, Mrs. Hassing, in room A102.

• Names of teachers throughout the book (excluding the portrait section) will be their prefix and last name unless instructed otherwise (ex: Ms. Smith or Mr. Smith)

• For the 2023-2024 school year - Names of students throughout the book (excluding the portrait section) will utilize the legal name on record in Skyward for each student unless a yearbook preferred name form was completed and returned to the adviser, Mrs. Hassing, in room A102 (ex: Abigail might go by Abby, but we can only use Abby if we are aware of this preference).

• We encourage students to complete a preferred name form (below). 

• The preferred name form is due by December 20, 2024, so the yearbook staff has time to make all changes needed.
